THE TRACK" $10 ADMISSION NIGHT
AT WALL STADIUM SATURDAY (JULY 10) WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. ~ Auto racing fans will be treated royally at Wall Stadium this Saturday night (July 10) as promoter Jim Morton has announced a "Pack the Track" promotion offering young fans seven and under free admission and fans eight and older admission for just $10. Spectator gates open at 4:00 p.m., qualifying will start at 5:15 p.m., an “On Track Party” begins at 6:15 p.m. and main event racing starts at 7:30 p.m. "The economy is tough for everyone these days and I just wanted to offer a real affordable night to allow everyone a chance to come to the races," Morton said. "I hope everyone can spread the word and take advantage of this special night." The Supreme Manufacturing Modifieds will battle in a 40-lap feature race on Saturday; the Sportsman cars, Street Stocks and the Legend Cars will race in 25-lappers and the Factory Stocks will battle in a 20-lap feature. An "On Track Party," where fans will be welcome to walk the speedway and get an up close look at every car parked on the track, will be one of the highlights of the evening. The weekend will start on Friday night, July 9, when the speedway hosts its free to the public "Cruise Night" starting at 5:00 p.m. On hand to cover all the fun of the antique, classic and muscle cars on Friday will be News 12 New Jersey with anchor Roxanne Evans planning to host the coverage. On Sunday, July 11, the fifth mile paved "inner oval" returns to action with the 2010 "Sunday Series" featuring Go Karts, wingless Midgets, Legend Cars and Micro Stocks starting at noon.
