USAC NE FORD FOCUS MIDGET SERIES INVADES WALL TOWNSHIP SPEEDWAY
ON ALLSTATE INSURANCE NIGHT

WALL TWP., NJ -- Saturday, August 18th on Allstate Insurance Night, the "USAC Northeast Ford Focus Midget Series presented by Wirtgen America" will be traveling to Wall Township Speedway on Rt. 34 in Wall, NJ. Rookie Steven Intravaia has been on fire in this series, winning 3 of his last 4 races. It will also be a tight point battle coming into Wall with Jeff Abold leading by only 20 points over P.J. Stergios after last weeks event in Chemung, NY. You can visit the NE Ford Focus Series website at www.northeastfordfocusseries.com for more info. Five regular Wall Township Speedway, Whelen All-American Series divisions will be competing as well. The WAAS Modifieds, Street Stocks, RMP Modified Affordable Division, Value Towing Factory Stocks and INEX Legend Cars. The Sportsman Division will be taking this week off as they prepare for their big 50 lap feature coming up on Saturday, September 1st.

The new "Reduced Prices" for August will remain in effect, Adult grandstand tickets cost only $14 dollars, Seniors 65/over, and Kids/Students age 13-17 - $10 dollars, Children age 6-12 and "Active" Military ID tickets - $6 dollars. There is also a Family Discount, purchase 2 adult tickets for $14 dollars each, one child age 6-12 is admitted free.

On Sunday, August 19th, the Sunday Series will be running starting at 12 noon, with gates opening at 11am, and free grandstand admission. 4 Cylinder Supermodifieds, Calabreeze Legends, Van Wickle Bandoleros, and Go-Karts will be in action. If you are looking for something to do this Saturday night August 18th, why not come out and support local NASCAR short track racing at the Jersey Shore. Wall Township Speedway hosts the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series every Saturday Night from April to October on a 1/3 mile high-banked oval. Wall has been hosting racing events at the Jersey Shore since 1950. Gates open at 4PM, with qualifying starting at 6:30 PM Saturday, August 18th.
